On April 4, Neutrino and Cosmology Group members Kya Sorli and Tianqing Zhang both earned High Distinction with their senior thesis defenses.  Kya, a guest member working with Tane Remington at LLNL, completed a project entitled, “Hydrodynamic Modeling of the Deep Impact Mission into Comet Tempel”.  Tianqing, working with Chris Walter, completed a project entitled “Measuring the Chromatic Effect of Atmospheric Point-Spread-Functions in Visible and Infrared Wavelength”.  Congratulations, both!
