Duke seniors Fan Zhang and Emily Kuhn both graduated with distinction, having completed senior theses this spring. Fan’s thesis was on “Supernova Neutrino Directionality”. Emily’s was based on a project started during summer research at the University of Melbourne, “Magnetic Field Evolution in Magnetars with Gravitational Wave Applications”. Both Fan and Emily are going on to physics graduate school, at Purdue and Yale. Congratulations, Fan and Emily!
